2023-24 BEACHWOOD MARKETING/JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT COMPANY
The mission of Hope Heals is to inspire hope and brighten the lives of critically ill children across Northeast Ohio. The students will use a guerrilla marketing teddy bear campaign to gain attention.
Beachwood High School Marketing is an Excel TECC program composed of thirty-nine high school seniors from Beachwood, Chagrin Falls, Mayfield, Orange, Richmond Heights, Solon, South-Euclid Lyndhurst, and West Geauga. Students incorporate the Junior Achievement Company Program into the Marketing course of study to engage in experiential entrepreneurship education.
HOPE HEALS is the 2023-24 Marketing/Junior Achievement Company.
Teacher, Mr. Greg Perry has taught marketing for 31 years.
Medi Teddy: The Students will promote Medi Teddys. A Medi Teddy is a reusable medical accessory made from BPA/latex-free silicone and plastic. It is designed to attach to IV poles in pediatric rooms and can be easily cleaned using multiple hospital-grade cleaners such as bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or sanitizing wipes. The "Hope" bear features easy access visibility and can be personalized by writing or drawing on its stomach with washable markers.
Through Hope Heals, the Beachwood Marketing students would like to donate a Medi-Teddy to every pediatric hospital room across Northeast Ohio.
Hope Heals will feature five giant inflatable teddy bears that will pop up across lifestyle centers, public parks, and hospitals throughout Northeast Ohio during the spring of 2024. The 10’-20' tall inflatable teddy bears will create a colorful and joyful experience for countless visitors.
